GK Environmental Services - Great Bend, KS 67530## Description
** GK Environmental Services, located in Great Bend, KS,  is looking to add an equipment operator to their team.

* Summary:

** Responsible for operating various equipment; tractors, loaders and trucks.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
** may include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
* Equipment maintenance and performing routine inspections.
* Cleaning and reporting any issues to mechanics.
* Maintain daily logs, fuel usage and equipment maintenance reports.

The qualified candidate must be able to adapt and work in all weather conditions.  CDL preferred but not required.  Must be able to pass post offer employment testing.

Experience:

** High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three month’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

** Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
* ** Math Ability:
** Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American weight measurement, volume, and distance.
