This is supervisory work in the administration and delivery of services for multiple state and federally funded programs which includes child and family well-being programs, child protective services, family first services, family finding and family preservation. This position will have a primary responsibility in supporting the region in achieving program outcomes. This position will also be a leader within the region in all aspects of the Kansas Practice Model (KPM) that will include training, mentoring and consultation to the PPS teams and Supervisors within the region.
Tasks may include providing ongoing learning opportunities to staff, assist with community presentations on the practice model, participate support and engage in Guided Learning Consultations (GLC), Questions that make a difference sessions (QTMAD), Learn the Supervisor consultation tool and support Supervisors on continued learning thru use of the tool.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, health sciences or related field as determined relevant by the agency and one (1) year of field experience with a child welfare agency, childcare institution or agency performing human services or health sciences functions. Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications: One or more of the following:
Bachelor’s in Social Work (Licensed Social Worker), Master’s in Professional Counseling (Licensed Professional Counselor), Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).

- Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver’s license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.
