Warehouse Attendant, Bend

POSITION

• Warehouse Attendant (over 2 years)
• Warehouse Attendant (2nd year)
• Warehouse Attendant (1st year)

Receive, store and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Assist in taking physical inventories, maintaining accurate inventory and environmental records, and perform other miscellaneous duties as required.

High school graduate or equivalent. Two years of post‑secondary education in business or related field preferred. Should possess knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles.

At least three years experience as a stock clerk or warehouse attendant preferred.

Should be familiar or become familiar with in a reasonable period of time with Company List of Materials and Construction Specifications.

Individual must be able to organize work and meet deadlines. Ability to handle a variety of diverse tasks and organize work to meet deadlines. Must have strong analytical skills and be proficient in the operation of calculators and personal computers. Working knowledge of Word and Excel is required. Individual will be required to learn inventory control software. Must possess a valid Kansas Commercial Drivers License (Class

A) and will be required to become certified to operate a forklift or other comparable equipment.

Position is located in Company warehouse. Work includes both inside and outside work in all weather conditions. Some heavy lifting is required. Some overtime may be required in association with the normal workday and / or weekends in the event of emergencies.

The wage scale for this position is listed in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
