Caption Call is looking for a caring, customer service-oriented installer/trainer with a passion for helping people with hearing loss communicate with the world. This hands‑on position enriches lives by installing the Caption Call phone for our customers and training them how to use it to communicate over the telephone with confidence. The role requires working independently, often in customers’ homes, and offers a flexible schedule.

It is a part‑time position with potential for career growth.

Base hourly rate: $12.22 to $19.52 (based on location and experience)

• $25 per successful installation
• $25 per successful priority service call

• Basic computer knowledge and experience

• Install and troubleshoot Caption Call phones in customers’ homes
• Courtely train customers on phone features
• Promote the Caption Call service
• Assist with lead generation activities as needed
• Guide other Caption Call activities and recommend expansions for the business
• Meet or exceed install/trainer expectations and maintain department goals
• Complete assigned service calls
• Accurately maintain customer records
• Complete required reports, submit invoices, and provide feedback on customer interactions
• Retrieve and clean phones for former customers
  
  Maintain adequate inventory of equipment and supplies
• Represent Caption Call at events as assigned
• Adhere to strict compliance policies
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information
• Adapt to new responsibilities as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum:
High School Diploma or GED.

• Daily driving required; reliable, licensed, insured vehicle needed
• Valid driver’s license required
• Good driving record required
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods in an office environment
• Ability to transport installation equipment into a customer’s home
• Dexterity in hands and fingers for computer and tool use
• Regular and predictable attendance required

No supervisory responsibilities.
