We are seeking a full-time Senior Bridge Engineer / Project Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic, energetic, and rewarding work environment. This opportunity is anticipated to be located in Great Falls or Helena, MT , but all Montana locations (Great Falls, Helena, Kalispell, Bozeman) may be considered.

As a Senior Bridge Engineer/Project Manager , you will be responsible for leading bridge-related projects from planning through construction, providing technical expertise, and mentoring staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the design and analysis of bridge and structural transportation projects
- Managing project scope, schedule, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to bridge and transportation staff
- Preparing and reviewing bridge plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
- Coordinating with clients , agencies, and stakeholders, including DOTs and local jurisdictions
- Overseeing load ratings, inspections, and rehabilitation or replacement strategies
- Supporting construction administration, inspections, and field reviews as needed
- Leading business development efforts , including proposal preparation and client engagement
You will lead and manage a variety of projects, including:
- Transportation clients including DOTs, Federal Highways, Forest Service, Department of Defense, Counties, Cities, Railroads, and Private.
- Bridge rehabilitation and replacement
- Culverts and hydraulic structures
- Load Rating and Bridge Inspection support
- Roadway structures and retaining walls
- Railroad bridges
You may also have the opportunity to support or manage other types of projects including:
- Roads and Highways
- Intersections and Roundabouts
- Vertical Structures
- Water Distribution and Sewer Collection Systems
- Stormwater Infrastructure
We are seeking an experienced leader with strong technical and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university (Structural emphasis preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10+ years of experience in bridge and structural transportation engineering
- Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing projects and teams
- Strong client relationship management and business development experience
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work on schedule
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience living or working in Montana is a plus
- Relocation assistance is available
$100,000 – $130,000 annually (Excluding year-end bonus), depending on experience, education, and qualifications.
