Position: Civil Engineer - Great Falls, MT

Mission Hires is partnering to hire a full-time Civil Engineer for a Great Falls, MT office. You’ll work on diverse civil infrastructure projects (water, sewer, stormwater, roads, site/campus development, and federal facilities), performing civil design, drafting in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, preparing PS&E packages, and supporting construction administration. Responsibilities
  • Perform civil design calculations and technical analyses across water, sewer, and stormwater systems
  • Draft and design civil plans using AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates (PS&E)
  • Conduct construction inspection and administration activities
  • Analyze and model public infrastructure systems (water, sewer, stormwater)
  • Write technical reports and clearly communicate project details to stakeholders
  • Support and manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
  • Contribute to design for roads and highways, subdivision development, commercial sites, treatment systems, and federal facilities (e.g., U.S. Air Force projects)
Requirements
  • B.S. in Engineering (Civil focus preferred) from an accredited university
  • EIT certification required;
    Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D for drafting and design
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and collaboration
  • Experience with public infrastructure design (water, sewer, stormwater) preferred
  • Experience living or working in Montana is a plus
