Overview
The position is the Office’s front line with regard to New Accounts, Consumer Banking, and Customer Service. Expertise and solid product knowledge are required. There is extensive customer contact to position the selling and servicing of multiple financial services/products to broaden the customer base. Responsibilities include assisting with the merchant program and other duties as assigned, administering loan portfolios (installment loans, credit lines, home equity, and real estate), and servicing them as needed to ensure maximum profitability for the bank.
Development of new business occurs through servicing requests, calling on existing customers, identifying and calling on potential customers, and representing the bank in community activities.
- Provide front-line service for New Accounts, Consumer Banking, and Customer Service with strong product knowledge.
- Position and sell a range of financial services/products to customers; broaden the bank’s customer base.
- Assist with merchant programs and other duties as assigned.
- Administer and service loan portfolios (installment loans, credit lines, home equity, and real estate) to maximize profitability.
- Develop new business by servicing requests, contacting existing customers, identifying potential customers, and representing the bank in community activities.

- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Thorough knowledge of all types of consumer deposit and loan accounts.
- 2-year business-related degree and/or financial institution or related experience or equivalent training and/or experience.
- Extensive public and telephone contact requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and professionalism.
- Computer word processing and spreadsheet knowledge and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Previous bank operations knowledge and skills are a plus.
- Experience using ITI Platform, Decision Pro, and Laser Pro.
