Renegade Financial is a Montana finance platform built on two divisions — Renegade Capital, our private‑credit and direct‑lending arm, and Renegade Mortgage, our residential brokerage. The back office is already built: established wholesale lender relationships, an approved correspondent line coming online, in‑house processing, a dedicated compliance function, and a capitalized lending division alongside.
Your focus is singular: own and scale the Mortgage Division across Montana, and earn a direct equity stake in the division you build.
Renegade Financial is a Montana‑based finance platform operating two divisions:
- Renegade Capital — our private‑credit and direct business‑purpose lending arm, backed by its own investment fund.
- Renegade Mortgage — our residential mortgage division: a Montana‑licensed brokerage placing a full product set through a wholesale lender network, with an approved correspondent line coming online.
Both divisions are supported by in‑house third‑party processing and a dedicated compliance function, and corporate leadership is led by a former community‑bank president who directs management and serves as the mortgage division’s Qualifying Individual. The two divisions reinforce each other — giving mortgage originators both a wholesale residential platform and a private‑money option for deals that fit. The infrastructure, capital, lender relationships, processing, and compliance are in place.
We are seeking an equity partner to own and scale the Mortgage Division statewide.
As Managing Partner of the Mortgage Division, you are a co‑owner of Renegade Mortgage and the architect of its revenue. You’ll carry operational autonomy and bottom‑line accountability for loan production, recruiting and developing originators, and growing market share across our wholesale residential platform and a forthcoming correspondent channel. This is a producing partnership: you carry your own pipeline and lead a team that does the same.
It is a principal partnership position with an equity structure in the mortgage division, to be detailed in executive interview rounds.
This is a true ownership opportunity, structured as a partnership. The real reward is the equity you own and the production you drive. Compensation is open-ended and fully negotiable, weighted toward production and ownership:
- Meaningful equity ownership in the company you help build and lead — the centerpiece. As the division grows, your ownership grows with it: that is how you share in the team’s success.
- Your own production — as a producing partner you carry a personal pipeline, compensated under the company’s MLO Compensation Plan.
- A base/draw to support your ramp.

Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Team Development- Recruit, hire, and onboard a high‑performing team of loan officers across Montana.
- Serve as the primary mentor and structuring resource for the division’s originators — high‑level guidance and troubleshooting on complex or non‑traditional files.
- Train and elevate the sales team in advanced selling, lead execution, and accountability.
- Design and evaluate originator compensation and incentive programs that attract talent while protecting profitability and complying with loan‑originator compensation rules.
