Position Overview: Responsible for all aspects of employee and departmental management, creating a professional practice environment focused on patient safety, customer service, infectious disease identification, surveillance, epidemiologic investigation, and transmission control. This role involves working twenty hours a week in Infection Prevention.

Key Responsibilities: Planning, coordinating, organizing, monitoring, and implementing activities within the area of responsibility and managing employee performance. Ensuring efficient department operations and compliance with all regulatory laws, standards, and licensing requirements.

Skills and Abilities: Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations. Capable of dealing with diverse individuals, stressful situations, and conflicts effectively.

Additional Requirements: Perform all assigned duties, adhere to licensing and organizational policies and procedures.

Education/License/

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, business, or healthcare-related field preferred
• Current state registered nurse license required
• One to three years of management or supervisory experience in healthcare
• BLS certification
• Infection prevention certification (to be obtained within 6 months of hire)
