Clinical Coordinator - Medical Oncology

Shift: Day
Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater)
Hours per Pay Period: 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt)
Starting Wage DOE: $38.96 - 48.71

The Clinical Coordinator supports the Manager and/or Director in leadership and management within the department, supervising nursing and non-nursing staff as applicable. Responsibilities include clinical and operational coordination, staff management, quality control, compliance, and process improvement. In the absence of the Manager/Director, may assume departmental management responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions

• Supports behaviors aligned with Billings Clinic’s mission, values, and standards.

• Assists in leading daily operations and patient care coordination.

• Works with department chairs to prioritize and implement improvements.

• Ensures safety standards and compliance.

• Assists in recruitment, performance reviews, and staff development.

• Coordinates staff training and orientation.

• Analyzes clinical practices for quality and efficiency.

• Manages clinical staffing schedules.

• Supports patient flow and clinical tasks.

• Participates in communication and collaboration efforts.

• Maintains effective relationships with patients, staff, and other departments.

• Performs other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing or respiratory therapy program, required.

• BSN or equivalent preferred.

Certifications and Licenses

• Current Montana RN or Respiratory Therapist license required.
