Job Description: Assist the physician in managing diagnostic and interventional procedures by scrubbing and managing the sterile field and by monitoring and reporting hemodynamic data. Perform X‑ray duties, routine or delegated, according to the standards and policies of the Cardiac Catheterization. Receive direction from cardiologists, Cath Lab Manager, anesthesia provider, and RN circulator laboratory.
Education- 2 years Cath Lab experience or graduate of a cardiovascular program (required)
- Successful completion of the Cardiovascular Science Exam (preferred)
- Successful completion of the Cardiovascular Invasive Registry Exam (preferred)
- Current BLS Certification (required)
- Current National RCIS Registration (preferred)
- ACLS Certification (recommended)
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively
- Possesses knowledge of Cath Lab procedures and a basic understanding of cardiovascular anatomy
- Knowledge of fundamental computer terms related to applications software and desktop PC’s
- Ability to open, read, and respond to email
- Ability to manage electronic files
- Work in temperature‑controlled environments
- Potential exposure to chemicals, blood‑borne pathogens, and infectious disease
- Criminal background check

- Health and immunizations screening
