Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
Responsibilities
Perform age‑specific patient assessment prior to and during CT procedure, prepare room and patient, and perform all CT procedures. Utilize CT equipment accurately, evaluate exam quality, and manage images. Provide education and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare workers, contributing to efficient operation of the department, promoting philosophy, and ensuring quality and continuity of patient care.
Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and adapt to changing situations. Handle a variety of people, stressful situations, and conflict.
Perform all job duties or job tasks assigned. Follow and adhere to licensing board or agency requirements, regulations and procedures, and comply with Benefis Health System organization policies and procedures.
Education, License, and Experience Requirements- Bachelor of Science degree preferred (not required).
- One year radiologic/imaging experience (preferred).
- Specific experience and training in CT/MRI preferred.
- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Certification in CT preferred.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
- Current State of Montana license for Radiologic Technology required.
Non‑Exempt
Starting Wage$29.82 hourly (actual offered wage based on applicable experience).
