Clinical Dietitian providing nutrition assessment, counseling, and medical nutrition therapy to a diverse patient population in a hospital setting in Great Falls, Montana. This role improves patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care while supporting a team-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments across multiple care settings

  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on diagnoses

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient medical nutrition therapy

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on nutrition and disease management

  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and therapists

  • Offer nutrition support and counseling for chronic disease patients

  • Support dialysis, long-term care, acute care, swing bed, and outpatient populations

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and wellness programs

  • Stay current on evidence-based nutrition guidelines and best practices

  • Serve as a nutrition resource for staff and community education

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited institution

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration

  • Licensed or eligible for dietitian licensure in Montana

  • Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient medical nutrition therapy principles

  • Strong understanding of nutrition assessment, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Valid driver's license

  • Strong organizational, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills

Preferred

Skills:
  • Experience in hospital, outpatient, dialysis, or long-term care settings

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation systems

  • Experience working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Passion for patient education and preventative healthcare initiatives
