We are seeking enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused Banquet Servers to join our hotel team. If you enjoy working special events and creating memorable guest experiences, this is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality environment.
Position SummaryThe Banquet Server is responsible for setting up banquet rooms, serving food and beverages, and ensuring exceptional service for meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events. This position plays a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience for every guest.
Essential ResponsibilitiesSet up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and décor.
Greet guests professionally and provide friendly, attentive service throughout each event.
Serve plated meals, buffets, hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and desserts efficiently and accurately.
Refill beverages, clear dishes, and maintain a clean and organized event space.
Work closely with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure successful event execution.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Tear down banquet rooms after events and return equipment and supplies to designated storage areas.
Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting banquet equipment as needed.
Respond promptly to guest requests while maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude.
QualificationsPrevious banquet, restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
Food Handler Permit and alcohol service certification (if required by state or local law) preferred or obtainable upon hire.
