Information Security Analyst​/ In-person

Works with the security team to conduct periodic network monitoring and intrusion detection analysis to determine if there have been any attacks on the system. They analyze network traffic to identify anomalies and test the information security controls for weaknesses.

Demonstrates the ability to handle pressure to meet deadlines, be accurate, and manage constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to work with a variety of people, handle stressful situations, and resolve conflict. Follows and adheres to all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency, and complies with all Benefis Health System organization policies and procedures.

• Associate degree in an Information Security Field or bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
• At least 1 year of relevant technical security experience or 4 years of experience in an enterprise IT environment
• Certification through an organization such as the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, which offers the Certified Information Systems Security Professional qualification preferred or willingness to achieve certification within the first three years
• Familiarity with Cisco Security tools, Splunk, and configuration auditing
