An entry‑level role that supports the implementation and maintenance of Epic and related business applications. Working under the guidance of senior analysts, this position helps ensure system stability, assists with workflow optimization, and provides first‑line support to business teams.
Assists with configuration, testing, deployment of Epic and related applications, supports system updates, change‑management activities, and documentation requirements, while performing basic troubleshooting and escalating more complex issues as appropriate.
Works closely with business teams to gather operational needs and translates those needs into technical requirements aligned with Epic’s model system. Contributes to training by preparing user guides and tip sheets, assisting with group sessions, and offering one‑on‑one support.
Maintains compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and upholds a professional, service‑oriented approach to supporting business users.
Demonstrates the ability to handle pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, adapt to constantly changing situations, manage conflict, and work with a variety of people.
Responsibilities- Ensure system stability and optimize workflows.
- Provide first‑line support and basic troubleshooting.
- Configure, test, and deploy Epic and related business applications.
- Maintain system updates, documentation, and change‑management processes.
- Assist with training activities, including user guides, tip sheets, and group sessions.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
- Escalate complex issues to senior analysts as needed.
- Associate’s degree required; equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare or equivalent setting.
- Experience in billing, coding, patient access, or ERP work is strongly preferred.
- Experience with a primary healthcare EMR vendor (e.g., Epic) is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of EMR/ERP and business applications, including system functionality, configuration, workflows, and end‑user equipment.
- Must complete all required Epic coursework and obtain applicable certification within three (3) months of assignment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Exemption Wage:
Exempt. Starting annual wage is $67,579.20; actual offered wage is based on applicable experience.
