Site Programming Lead

Description

General expectations and responsibilities include:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the team’s work activities and progress daily.
• Interact/meet with your team regularly to provide guidance and updates.
• Receive and coordinate requests from the Production/Planning Department.
• Communicate with Planning to ensure revisions released to Programming align with the current job and shop needs.
• Provide technical support when required and maintain communication with Programmers.
• Comply with the Corporation’s Quality Management System and QA/QC Program.
• Ensure that safety standards and regulations are respected.
• Resolve issues with skeleton updates, program swaps, missing programs, and overlapping plate programs.
• Oversee and keep track of the training manual dates/requirements for the department.
• Coordinate with Production/Planning for schedule changes, project details, outsourcing, and material needs.
• Oversee timekeeping of the Programming Department.
• Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure drafting is archived appropriately.
• Report any non-conformity to Production/Planning.
• Enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Any other related duties or special projects as needed.

Pay or shift range: $28 USD to $31 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
