We are seeking only candidates with experience working in the Pacific Northwest.
The CEO will report directly to the Governing Board Chair. The Center for Mental Health dba Many Rivers Whole Health (Many Rivers) has an operating budget of approximately $16 million, which includes federal, state, private, and grant funds. There are approximately 150 employees located in Great Falls, Helena, Conrad, and Havre. Many Rivers projects rapid growth because of its recent commitment to the integrated health model of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC).
Many Rivers is proud to have been quick and responsive to the needs of clients for access to quality services and now is turning its attention to developing the infrastructure, culture, and technologies to manage its growth. The next CEO will have the opportunity to sustain the organization’s expansion, diversification of services, and partnerships while focusing its attention on critical core issues that have emerged since the CCBHC transformation.
A primary objective is workforce resilience, creatively addressing issues related to employee recruitment, professional development, employee retention, team building, and accountability factors. Of importance is establishing a culture of clear and transparent communication whereby employees in multiple locations experience equal connection to Many Rivers’ core mission.
The CEO will focus on administrative and operational efficiencies to enhance a flexible workforce, cross‑collaboration, and communications at all levels of the organization. Also, critical for long‑term success, the next leader will invest in technological infrastructure to assist Many Rivers leaders to better anticipate the costs of delivery and access to services. While navigating multiple and complex funding streams as well as environmental uncertainties, the CEO will have the opportunity to serve as a leader in connecting Many Rivers’ mission and values to a healthy organizational culture and best practices.
