Description

The Program Manager – Site Launch & Readiness serves as the right hand to the Executive Vice President helping to oversee the launch of Janicki’s new Montana campus. This role does not independently direct the site stand-up; rather, it supports and enables the EVP’s oversight of the effort by coordinating across engineering, operations, finance, facilities, supply chain, and other functional teams to ensure everyone is aligned, informed, and working from the same information.

The Program Manager tracks schedules, reconciles data across teams, and translates complex, cross-functional information into clear reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive and government audiences. Success in this role depends on strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and a naturally engaging, charismatic personality that builds trust and cooperation across a wide range of teams and stakeholders.

This position is located on-site in Great Falls, Montana.

The following essential job functions are performed as the Program Manager – Site Launch & Readiness

  • Serve as the primary point of coordination across all functional teams involved in the Montana site launch, ensuring engineering, operations, facilities and support groups are aligned and not duplicating effort
  • Support the Vice President in tracking production readiness schedules, flagging risks, and ensuring critical path milestones are visible and understood across teams
  • Reconcile cost, schedule, and status data from multiple teams into a single, accurate source of truth for the EVP and executive leadership
  • Create and maintain a centralized data environment for schedules, risks, costs, and status reporting
  • Prepare milestone presentations, cost summaries, and readiness reports for the EVP to deliver to executive leadership, government stakeholders, and community partners
  • Translate complex technical and financial data into clear, concise summaries for diverse audiences
  • Identify potential duplication of effort or gaps between teams and raise them to the EVP for resolution
  • Maintain proactive, two-way communication between the EVP and functional teams, ensuring expectations and updates flow smoothly in both directions
  • Track and consolidate site-related costs, including capital expenditures and operational ramp-up costs, for EVP review and decision-making
  • Support the EVP in risk assessment and mitigation planning by surfacing issues early and tracking follow-through
  • Support capital planning and budgeting activities for the new facility under the EVP’s direction
  • Help establish clear roles, responsibilities, and workflows across site-launch contributors, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
  • Implement and maintain program management tools and trackers that give the EVP visibility into schedule, cost, and data accuracy
  • Build strong working relationships across engineering, operations, facilities, finance, and supply chain to keep information flowing and teams working from the same page
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed to support site-launch activities
  • Demonstrate the ability to work individually and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively while maintaining punctual and regular attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
