• Manage all aspects of employee performance, recruitment, and departmental operations.
• Develop and maintain a professional practice environment that focuses on patient safety, customer service, and infection prevention.
• Plan, coordinate, organize, monitor and implement activities within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, local regulations, standards, protocols and licensing or certification requirements.
• Handle pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and adapt to constantly changing situations.
• Communicate with a variety of people, manage stressful situations, and resolve conflicts.
• Perform all assigned duties and follow all licensing board or agency requirements.
• Adhere to all Benefis Health System organization policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, business, or related healthcare field (preferred).
• Current state registered nurse license required.
• One to three years of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• BLS certification.
• Infection prevention certification (within 6 months of signing).
• Exempt from wage; starting annual wage $ (actual offered wage based on experience).

20 hours per week dedicated to Infection Prevention.
