Member Specialist

Position Summary

Provides member service and maintains the checkout area. Promotes Sam’s Club products and services, resolves member issues, and supports members with self‑service technology. Processes purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies and safety standards. Maintains merchandise flow, ensures safety sweeps, and supports new associate training.

• Provide member assistance, including product promotion and self‑service technology guidance.
• Maintain checkout and merchandise areas, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies.
• Handle merchandise handling and maintain a safe shopping environment, including zone organization.
• Assist with security duties: identify potential criminal activity, maintain logs, and coordinate emergency response as needed.
• Train new front‑line associates on processes, technology, and programs.
• Support continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and recommend enhancements.

• Retail experience operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
• Experience using mobile retail applications.

• Hourly wage: $18.00 to $26.00, plus potential premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
