North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT, East Location, is looking to hire a Full-Time Loss Prevention Inventory Specialist to join our team. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self. As a Loss Prevention Inventory Specialist at North 40, you play a key role in the overall customer experience by safeguarding company assets with auditing processes and procedures and maintaining the accuracy of the store’s inventory.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, open availability and dependable. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.

• Loss Prevention
  • Function as the stores Loss Prevention Coordinator to proactively detect and prevent losses.
  • Analyze shrink/loss data to identify and track problem areas and trends.
  • Review and monitor process controls and audits and identify problem areas or procedural deficiencies.
  • In partnership with store management, teach, train and coach associates in loss prevention protocols and techniques as well as use of equipment and technologies.
  • Oversee EAS system operation and coordinate on maintenance and compliance.
  • Advise Store Managers and Loss Prevention on policy and procedure violations.
  • Assist store management team with the implementation and adherence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and all company policies and procedures. Report all issues to Loss Prevention.
  • Watch for and recognize potential theft, and take appropriate steps to prevent, report, or handle these situations.
  • Recognize safety and security risks and remedy the situation and alert proper personnel.
