Sletten Construction is looking for Welder/Fabricators to support current construction projects. The Welder is responsible for assisting the shop and construction teams to complete projects requiring welding and other tasks. Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test as well as a weld test.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform welding tasks on construction sites as well as in the shop
- Utilize equipment to unload, stack, and organize steel materials
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and materials usage
- Effectively communicate with team members, vendors, and clients
- Work with Foreman to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise
- Perform equipment repair
- Ensure welds meet required standards and specifications
- Identify and correct any defects or deficiencies
- Assist other craft workers as needed
- Must work quickly, productively, and safely without error and consistently meet the production goals as set by the Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager
- Must consistently produce quality workmanship as judged by company standards
- Must comply with all company safety and personnel policies
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Welder/Fabricator
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including plan reading, weld symbol identification, layout, fitting, and welding
- Experience with a variety of welding processes (e.g., FCAW‑G, FCAW‑S, GMAW, SMAW, PAC, OAC)
- Must be over 18
- Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 80 lbs.
- Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, work at heights, walk/work in rough terrain in order to access equipment, tools, materials, and jobsite in order to complete work

- Work environment is changing and will be both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Travel is required
