• Work within a well-established, privately held specialty chemicals organization with global operations

• Exposure to a growing manufacturing and distribution business with ongoing investment in systems and infrastructure

• High-visibility role partnering closely with finance leadership and operational teams

• Broad scope covering GL, cost accounting, inventory, tax, and financial analysis, not a narrow siloed role

• Opportunity to influence cost controls, process improvements, and margin optimization

• Strong emphasis on operational accounting and real-world business decision support

• Hands-on accounting within a complex, multi-entity environment

• Stable organization with long-term growth strategy and disciplined financial management

• Prepare daily general ledger activities and maintain accurate financial records

• Support month-end close including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and account analysis

• Reconcile bank accounts and manage banking-related inquiries

• Manage indirect tax compliance across U.S., Canada, and select European jurisdictions

• Perform cost accounting, budget vs. actual analysis, and expense forecasting

• Identify and recommend cost-reduction and profit improvement opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Accounting experience within manufacturing or distribution

• Strong experience with Oracle or similar enterprise ERP systems
