About the LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Role

LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to residents and patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information

• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team

• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings

• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to facility policies and procedures

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements

• Current LPN icensure in New York

• Prior experience in long-term care or sub-acute settings

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
