We are in need of a Senior Project Engineer/ Assistant Project Manager to oversee a wide variety of construction projects. The ideal applicant will be highly organized, able to ensure high quality standards are met, and will be proactive.

Job Responsibilities Include

• Ensure high quality standards are met
• Establishing and maintaining Contract Document logs, posting changes electronically
• Managing distribution of documents
• Assisting with preparing monthly reports
• Writing scopes of work for bids and assist in preparation of bid packages
• Performing quality surveys (takeoffs) for all changes
• Preparing estimates
• Traveling and coordinating projects on-site
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available
• Collaborating with subcontractors, engineers, and key team members
• Coordinating required inspections with local authorities

Requirements

• BSc/BA degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 3+, years of experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated comprehension of project specific safety plans
• Strong understanding of construction operation and processes
• Must be able to travel to the jobsites
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment
• Strong knowledge of MS Office. Familiar with construction and project management software programs such as Procore, Bluebeam
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation and management skills
