As an industry leading Environmental Remediation and Demolition Contractor since 1985, Enviro Vantage, Inc. is looking to add to our incredible team. We service projects nationwide and across the Caribbean and are recognized as a trusted authority for all government, commercial, and industrial projects involving hazardous materials handling and demolition.
The Site Safety and Health Officer will be responsible for the direct safety and compliance oversight of all abatement, demolition, and site restoration activities, including any additional subcontractors.
Essential Functions- Lead daily safety meetings and conduct routine safety/health inspections, reporting back weekly to the office.
- Conduct refresher training as needed, including but not limited to tools, lifts, confined space, etc.
- Perform safety and occupational health management program, including safety surveillance, inspections, and enforcement.
- Coordinate any corrective actions with the Enviro Vantage site superintendent.
- Minimum 10 years of continuous construction industry safety experience supervising or managing general construction.
- Knowledge and experience working with asbestos, excavation, and demolition required.
- Experience managing a safety program or processes, conducting hazard analysis, and developing controls.
- OSHA 30 and HAZWOPER 40 certification required.
- Previous experience working as a safety representative on a construction site.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA , 1926.62 and related regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of EM385‑1‑1.
- CPR and first aid certifications.
- Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds.
- Candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by a medical professional for the anticipated work requirements.
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain access to military bases across the United States.
- A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record as measured by company policy are required.

Compensation- Compensation Range: $80,000 – $115,000 per year.
- Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.

- Paid time off (PTO): 80 hours per year.
