We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage day-to-day field operations for our commercial construction projects including an upcoming project in Virginia
. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality control, maintaining project schedules, and enforcing safety standards while delivering projects on time and within budget. Compensation will be determined upon experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules and sequencing
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and maintain workflow
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation of site activities
  • Identify and proactively address potential delays, risks, and conflicts
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe job site
  • Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment usage
  • Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in commercial or industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) is preferred
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
