Our client, Merical Electrical Contractors is a commercial electrical contractor based in Upper Marlboro, MD. The company supports commercial electrical projects and is seeking an estimator/project manager with a commercial electrical background.

Job Summary:

The Electrical Estimator / Project Manager is responsible for supporting estimating and project execution for commercial electrical work. This role requires hands-on knowledge of commercial electrical systems and code compliance, along with the ability to prepare estimates using estimating software and standard office tools. The ideal candidate has commercial electrical field experience, can manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, and supports accurate estimating and day-to-day project coordination.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare estimates for commercial electrical projects using estimating software and project documentation
• Review project requirements and ensure estimates align with commercial electrical scope and code considerations
• Support project management activities related to commercial electrical work
• Apply strong knowledge of commercial electrical code to estimating and project execution
• Track and manage estimating and project-related documentation using Microsoft Office tools
• Coordinate with internal teams to support project planning and execution as needed

Requirements:

• 1+ year of electrical estimating experience
• Commercial electrical background required
• Very familiar with commercial electrical code
• Experience using estimating software
