reasury Systems Support Analyst, (Information Technology Project Coordinator 3G) grade G24 position, in the Office of Administration
Division.

About the Position

The Office of Finance is seeking an experienced candidate for a professional management level position that provides technical support to its Treasury Division. The incumbent of this position is responsible for supporting the Treasury information system including access management, reporting, data analysis, file maintenance, technical support, training, documentation, and data integrity. Must be customer-oriented, self-motivated, action-oriented, and deadline-driven, and a resourceful and fast learner who has advanced knowledge, skill and experience managing a variety of finance-related information systems.

The Office of Finance is dedicated to maximizing available resources and delivering creative and innovative financial services to a wide range of internal and external customers of the County.

  • Successfully manages the Treasury Information System and its related interfaces.
  • First point of contact for all Treasury Information System issues and questions. Works with other Treasury staff and/or other agencies to resolve in a timely manner.
  • Develops documentation (including disaster recovery) for the application containing code, diagrams, flowcharts, and a summary of objectives.
  • Liaison with OIT for legislation updates.
  • Administers application profiles and assigns per coordination with Treasury leadership.
  • Provides end-user training and support on the proper use of the application.
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and standing operating procedures for the Treasury System and related applications.
  • Design, customize and develop custom reports for internal teams and/or external clients.
  • Maintains adequate knowledge of ASP.NET, Crystal Reports, SAP, Power BI, Power Apps etc. to perform duties.
  • Provides accurate analysis based on users’ needs and includes proposed benefits of an automated system, cost to implement, time to complete, and ongoing application support needs.
  • Analyzing business requirements and processes and making recommendations to management on improvements.
  • Coordinate and troubleshoot with external parties as required for Treasury operations such as during rollover.
  • Keeps current on the status of assigned projects and is prepared to provide an update to immediate supervisor or department's upper management.
  • Ensure all coordinated work meets the department's goals and objectives minimizing change orders and delays.
  • Assembles and maintains documentation on projects. Utilizes Power Point or other tools to make presentations.
  • Works in conjunction with OIT and Treasury on the development of new system requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains beneficial working relationships with other OOF Divisions, County Agencies, other government officials and interested stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's Degree in information technology, business or public administration or a closely related field.
  • At least two (2) years of information technology experience.

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted.

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least five (5) years of experience working with systems such as ASP.NET, SAP, Power BI, and Power Apps.
