RN - Behavioral Health

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift with 3x12-hour shifts (07:30 - 20:00), every other weekend required.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Psychiatric / Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will work on a locked unit, providing care to patients across the pediatric to geriatric age ranges, dealing with a variety of psychiatric conditions.

• Provide care and management for patients with psychiatric disorders.
• Monitor and assess patient health status and implement care plans.
• Utilize physical, chemical, and mechanical restraints as necessary in compliance with protocols.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient needs.
• Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health/Psychiatric nursing preferred; 2 years strongly preferred.
• Active RN license in Maryland or Compact State.
• BLS, CPI required; PALS, ACLS, and CBH preferred.
