About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Maryland, starting on 08/02/2025. This diverse role offers various shift options, including 8, 10, 12, 16, and 24-hour shifts, with schedules ranging from 7a-5p to 7a-7a. While not required, call availability is highly preferred, with 7p-7a beeper call and post-call day off.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing blocks, spinals, and epidurals, and have experience in a wide range of surgical cases including general, endoscopic, orthopedic, neurosurgery/spine, urology, cardiology, vascular, gynecology, thoracic, ENT, and minimal cardiac procedures. New graduates with a clean malpractice record will also be considered.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Administer anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical procedures

• Perform blocks, spinals, and epidurals as needed

• Manage patient care throughout the perioperative period

• Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals

• Participate in on-call duties when required (7p-7a beeper call)

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using the Epic EMR system

• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Additional Information:

• Experience preferred, but new graduates with clean malpractice records will be considered

• Proficiency in blocks, spinals, and epidurals required

• Comfort with a wide range of surgical specialties necessary

• Maryland medical license required

• Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred

• Possibility of assignment extension
