Nursing Director, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Director to lead our Emergency Department and Behavioral Health units. This leadership role requires a dynamic professional committed to delivering exceptional patient care, fostering a collaborative team environment, and driving continuous improvement in clinical operations. The Nursing Director will oversee nursing staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and implement best practices to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing teams within the Emergency Department and Behavioral Health units.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize clinical workflows.
  • Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet departmental goals and operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Promote professional development and training opportunities for nursing staff.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics to enhance service delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, administration, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required;
    Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in emergency and behavioral health nursing settings (a minimum of 5-7 years).
  • Strong knowledge of clinical practices, healthcare regulations, and patient safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $66.98 - $106.96/hr
  • Other Compensation (if applicable): MIP bonus-eligible
