Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Staff – Public to join our team in BOULDER, Colorado. As part of a CPA Firm, you will be instrumental in handling tax-related tasks, financial statement preparation, and managing multiple projects. This role also involves maintaining a working knowledge of accounting software systems and delivering outstanding client service.

• Process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain and update customer credit records as per industry standards
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality
• Conduct tax research and apply findings to improve client service
• Utilize accounting software systems, including Case Ware, CCH Intelli Connect, CCH Prosystem, and CCH Pro System Fx
• Perform accounting functions and auditing tasks as required
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws
• Assist in entity formation and other related tasks
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting principles
• Handle estate tax returns and federal income tax returns effectively and accurately
• Work on individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a CPA firm or similar environment
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems such as Case Ware, CCH Intelli Connect, CCH Prosystem, and CCH Pro System Fx
• Understanding of Estate Tax, Estate Tax Return, Federal Income Tax Return, Income Tax Return, and Individual Tax Return
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferable
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly desirable
