Sr Accountant

Overview

Tek Wissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. Client is a publicly traded medical device company. Client designs, develops, manufactures and markets orthopedics products, including knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, foot and ankle artificial joints and dental prostheses. client has operations in more than 40 countries around the world

• The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the finance team s mission to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to facilitate the decision-making of key internal and external stakeholders.

• Conduct month-end close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Support the quarterly reviews and year-end audit with the independent auditors.
• Perform research and analytical review on significant transactions.
• Has a strong ability and interest to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and provide guidance on accounting-related matters.
• Ad-hoc accounting related projects.

• Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance; master s in accounting/CPA preferred
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills
• Positive and helpful attitude, along with commitment to process improvements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 5-7 years experience in accounting roles
• Proficiency in large accounting software (SAP or similar ERP experience) and advanced MS Excel skills.

• This job operates in a professional office environment.
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copy machines.

• This is a full-time position with typical business hours.
• It may reasonably require additional hours during the week and weekend; specific requirements will be determined with Manager.

• Minimal travel required.
