Compensation and Benefits- Compensation:
Proposed hiring rate of $2,653.85 to $2,915.38 biweekly amount, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience. - Benefits:

The Senior Accountant position is a full-time, year-round role at Copper Mountain. The accountant administers and coordinates general ledger transactions to maintain an accurate balance sheet and ensure truthful financial reporting. The accountant also works with Powdr Corp. accounting to ensure Copper Mountain complies with government and other financial regulations within the privately owned company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Manage multiple monthly financial close activities including but not limited to balance sheet account reconciliations and researching/correcting reconciling items.
- Review for accuracy and post journal entries (including revenue, payroll & benefits, COGS, AP, AR, inventory adjustments, and other general entries as needed).
- Assist with month-end/year-end close processes, journal entries, financial reporting & necessary reviews.
- Review financial transactions and accounting records for accuracy and completeness.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and account issues.
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve accounting processes and workflow efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to accounting staff as needed.
- Oversee the prepaid expense schedules, reporting and journal entry posting.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff on proper inventory handling and accounting.
- Assist in ad-hoc GAAP research compliance projects.
- Prepare and compile work papers for the year-end audit in coordination with the external audit team.
- Engage in annual property tax functions alongside Sr. Manager.
- Provide an overview of Capex accounting when necessary.
