Overview Account Executive – Employee Benefits

We’re seeking a Account Executive who will make a meaningful impact by delivering proactive client service, thoughtful benefits strategy, and a high‑touch experience for both clients and employees.

This role supports clients by ensuring benefits programs are administered accurately, aligned with strategic objectives, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Client Partnership & Service Excellence
  • Manage a book of employee benefits clients and serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for client leadership
  • Establish service schedules and oversee all client deliverables, including renewals, reporting, and open enrollment
  • Conduct most open enrollment meetings for assigned clients
  • Take ownership of escalated service issues related to eligibility, claims, billing, and policy matters
Operational & Compliance Excellence
  • Manage implementation of new clients, including BOR submissions and carrier coordination
  • Oversee preparation of renewal recaps, quarterly reviews, RFPs, and renewal strategy presentations
  • Coordinate with Account Administrators to ensure accuracy and integrity of data in agency management systems
  • Release RFPs, manage carrier follow‑up, and respond to carrier requests
  • Organize and analyze carrier quotes and prepare final rate confirmation materials
  • Manage carrier installation and termination processes
  • Prepare and distribute final SBCs, rates, and compensation confirmations
  • Support special projects such as eligibility audits, packet creation, and health fair coordination
Growth & Retention
  • Partner with Producers to retain and grow client relationships
  • Maintain strong client engagement through proactive communication and reliable execution
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and strengthen long‑term client partnerships
Qualifications What You Bring
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience supporting or managing employee benefits clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe tools
Preferred
  • Experience leading open enrollment meetings
  • Familiarity with agency management systems
  • Employee benefits insurance licensure

Compensation: Salary range: $80,000-$120,000 per year DOE Eligible for performance‑based bonus:
