Concrete Form Setter
This role focuses on setting and aligning concrete forms for commercial foundations and flatwork projects. You will work on a variety of concrete structures, including footings, walls, slab-on-grade, and mono slabs, ensuring accurate layout and quality workmanship from setup through concrete placement and form removal.
Responsibilities
- Set and align foundation forms for footings, walls, slab-on-grade, mono slabs, and other concrete structures on commercial projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes to ensure accurate layout and alignment of forms.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and metal forms to meet project specifications and dimensions.
- Verify form dimensions, elevations, and overall layout before concrete placement to ensure compliance with plans.
- Assist with concrete pours, including placing, vibrating, and finishing concrete as needed to achieve proper consolidation and surface quality.
- Strip forms after concrete has cured and prepare materials for reuse on future projects.
- Work collaboratively with the crew to complete foundations and flatwork safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment responsibly.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience as a concrete form setter on construction projects.
- Proficiency in setting and aligning forms for foundations, walls, slab-on-grade, mono slabs, and other concrete structures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes.
- Skill in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and metal concrete forms.
- Capability to verify form dimensions, elevations, and layout prior to concrete placement.
- Experience assisting with concrete pours, including placing, vibrating, and finishing concrete.
- Reliable transportation to the shop location each workday.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety on active construction sites.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on commercial construction projects, particularly foundations and flatwork.
- Familiarity with common construction tools and equipment used in concrete formwork and placement.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a crew in a fast-paced field environment.
- Dependable work ethic with consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to travel daily from the shop to job sites within approximately 35 miles.

Work Environment
This is a field construction role supporting commercial concrete projects within approximately 35 miles of the shop. Team members meet at the shop each workday and ride in a company truck to the job site, with pay starting upon arrival at the shop. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with variations depending on concrete pour schedules.
The work is outdoors and physically demanding, involving lifting up to 100 pounds, working with wood and metal forms, and handling concrete placement and finishing. You will work around typical construction equipment and tools in a hands-on, team-oriented environment, where appropriate workwear and personal protective equipment are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greeley, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
