Commercial Carpenter - Data Center Project

Pay Range: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Per Diem: $100/day worked (for employees traveling 75+ miles from their home address)

We are seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters to join a high-profile data center construction project. This position offers steady work, significant overtime opportunities, and the chance to work on one of the region's largest commercial construction projects.

The Carpenter will be responsible for building temporary structures, supporting form setters, and assisting with all phases of concrete formwork and commercial construction activities. Candidates will work in crews ranging from 5 to 30 team members and report directly to the onsite Foreman.

• Assist with all phases of commercial construction projects.
• Construct temporary protection and safety structures, including: temporary walls, temporary railings, temporary stairs, site protection systems.
• Support form setters with concrete formwork installation and removal.
• Build and maintain plywood formwork systems.
• Assist with grade beam, footing, column, and slab-on-grade construction activities.
• Work with Gates form systems and other formwork systems as required.
• Perform layout, measuring, cutting, and assembly tasks according to project specifications.

• Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Follow project safety procedures and company policies.
• Coordinate with foremen, supervisors, and other trades to ensure productivity and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with material handling and general labor tasks as needed.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Carpenter on commercial construction projects.
• Experience working on large-scale commercial projects.
• Experience with: temporary protection and safety carpentry, metal framing, grade beams, grade beam footings, slab-on-grade construction, concrete columns, plywood formwork systems, Gates form systems.
• Ability to read and follow construction plans and specifications.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor construction environments.
• Must provide and wear steel-toed work boots.

• OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or other construction safety certifications.
• Previous experience on data center, industrial, or large infrastructure projects.
• Experience working alongside concrete crews and form setters.

• Typical schedule:
  
  40-60 hours per week
• Significant overtime opportunities available

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
