SERVICE ADVISOR

Position Summary

We are expanding our service team and are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join our Greeley dealership. This role is ideal for a professional who values customer relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being the connection between customers and technicians.

As a key member of the service team, you will ensure exceptional customer care while maximizing technician efficiency. You will serve as the primary point of contact for service customers, accurately translating their needs into repair orders and ensuring timely, high-quality service from intake through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Coordination

* Professionally greet customers and accurately document service needs on repair orders.

* Build customer confidence through clear communication and expert guidance.

* Keep customers informed of repair status, timelines, and any changes.

* Arrange quality control verification and coordinate unit delivery or pickup.

Service Operations

* Manage and coordinate service schedules for multiple technicians.

* Follow established repair order processes from start to finish.

* Estimate, document, and explain all service charges clearly.

* Obtain warranty approvals and required authorizations promptly.

* Close and finalize repair orders accurately and on time.

* Reconcile and process all service time from the previous day.

Sales & Product Knowledge

* Meet or exceed individual service sales goals by recommending additional maintenance, service, parts, and accessories.

* Stay current on product updates, recalls, service bulletins, certifications, and warranty guidelines.

Education & Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

* Experience in agriculture, farming, heavy equipment, or related industries (preferred)

* Dealership service experience or formal service training (preferred)

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet applications, database systems, and dealership software

* Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

* Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and time-management abilities

* Professional, team-oriented mindset

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-directional environment

* Solutions-focused approach to problem solving

* Flexibility to work extended or adjusted hours during seasonal peak periods

* Valid driver's license with insurable driving record (required)

Physical Requirements

This position requires extended periods of:

* Sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, crawling, and reaching overhead

* Lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly without assistance

* Grasping, pushing, and pulling with both hands

Additional requirements include working around moving machinery, driving vehicles, extensive computer use, hearing normal tones, speaking clearly, and visual acuity.

Compensation

* $22.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule

* Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts

* Occasional work outside regular business hours as needed

Work Location

* In-person position at the Greeley dealership (not remote)

Reporting Structure

* Reports directly to the Store Manager
