Patient Account Representative (PAR)About the Role
As a Patient Account Representative (PAR), you’ll play a key role in helping patients resolve their medical accounts. This is a customer-focused position where you’ll provide support, answer questions, and guide patients through their payment options with professionalism and care. If you enjoy problem-solving, communicating with people, and working in a supportive team environment, this is a great opportunity for you!
WhatYou’ll Do
- Take inbound and outbound calls to assist patients with account questions.
- Explain balances, payment options, and financial responsibilities clearly and professionally.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and process payments accurately.
- Update patient information and maintain accurate account records.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve account issues.
- Meet performance goals while providing excellent customer service.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computer systems and phone platforms.
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior medical office or healthcare experience is a plus (but not required).
- Training is provided—bring your motivation and willingness to learn!
