Project Specialist-Contractor Position

The Project Specialist's primary role is to lead the execution of projects for branded and private label products through the Pilgrim's/JBS stage gate process. This person acts cross functionally to drive on time and on budget product launches critical to the business success of the company. This role bridges the gap between new product development (R&D, Packaging, Regulatory, Creative, Brand Marketing, and Category Marketing) and Operations (Supply Chain and Production Plants), ensuring successful commercial deployment across different functions and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and execution of commercialization projects from concept to market launch
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Pilgrim's/JBS Stage Gate Process
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to delivery
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, communication plans, timelines, risk trackers, and lessons learned for projects
- Track project milestones and KPIs, providing regular status updates to stakeholders
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, Packaging, Regulatory, Creative, Brand Marketing, Category Marketing, Operations, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain
- Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure alignment on commercialization objectives
- Identify and communicate risks and issues with appropriate teams while providing recommended solutions
- Help continuously improve the commercialization processes and best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Project Management, business, marketing, or similar experience preferred. Project Management certification is a plus
- 3+ years of experience. Experience in Project Management, food manufacturing, and/or consumer packaged goods manufacturing industry a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products. Must be confident, a strong problem solver, and work well under pressure.
- Must have proven interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to engage with individuals across different levels of the organization and exercise sound judgement.
- Ability to be resourceful, insightful and possess strong analytical skills, strong project management skills, ability to build and maintain strong business relationships, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a desire to work hard, have fun, and embrace accountability.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :
- Base salary of $27.00-$32.00/hr
