Minimum Hiring Annual Salary: $51,856.00 Maximum Hiring Annual Salary: $72,250.00

Placement within the salary range above is based on a combination of education and work experience.

Job Description:

Full-Time, Faculty, 9-month Academic position – Accounting, Business, Management, and Marketing Faculty.

This is a Full-Time, due process, benefited Faculty position beginning Fall 2026.
The faculty member will conduct their assignments and co-curricular college activities in a manner consistent with the philosophy and purpose of Aims Community College as stated in the school catalog. The primary purpose of the faculty member is to teach. The faculty member is also responsible for professional development and service to the college.
This teaching position will include Accounting and Business, and the faculty member may also teach courses in Management and Marketing, depending on scheduling needs.
This role will use and develop appropriate computer-based technologies (including online instruction) to enhance student learning. This role will apply learning-centered practices, including creating and communicating clearly defined outcomes for student learning; providing a diverse array of learning activities directly tied to those outcomes; using assessment data to improve instruction and learning; and participating in College-wide dialogue about teaching and learning.

This role is expected to teach at any scheduled time, including evenings and weekends, and/or any campus/outreach site as assigned by the Department Chair and/or Academic Dean.

Teaching & Professional Obligations:
  • Interacting with students to provide opportunities to learn, creating conditions that facilitate learning, and using techniques and methods that create a high probability that learning will occur.
  • Instructional Delivery:
    Providing clear communication of information and promoting learning through an effective learning environment.
  • Instructional Design:
    Designing, sequencing, implementing, and presenting experiences which promote student learning (both in-person & online), and designing, developing, and implementing tools, technologies, and procedures for assessing student-learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments of learning for students.
