Salary: $19.88 per hour plus benefits (Range: 18). Additional salary credit may be given for internal transfers and recent Greeley‑Evans School District 6 rehires, up to $31.87 per hour plus benefits.

Job DescriptionSummary / Objective: Provide an enriched atmosphere where students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible members of society. Facilitate learning and guide students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth and maturation. Reporting to the building principal and department director where assigned.
Essential Job Functions- Support the academic programming and progress of individual students and/or small groups with identified significant needs.
- Provide student‑specific personal care and support.
- Assist with daily classroom activities, data collection, sanitizing equipment and materials, and provide support to staff.
- Ability to sit for long periods and respond to student needs amid various distractions.
- Ability to move quickly between positions and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to perform the duties of the position.
- Experience in a school setting or with children with special needs.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Team‑work orientation and positive attitude.
- Upper‑body strength to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Paraprofessional experience preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred, but not required.
