SalaryPay for this position is determined by the Instructional Support Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. $17.51‑$18.56 per hour. This position will also receive a $2,000 stipend as a center‑based position spread throughout the year. Stipend is dependent upon start and end dates of the position.

Purpose of the JobOperates under general guidelines provided by a supervising teacher under the direction of the site administrator(s) and provides instructional, supervisory general, and/or special educational assistance to students and teachers. For Special Education implements specialized programming and/or instructional support both in and outside of the general education classroom, supervised by the special education teacher for the purpose of student growth.
EducationMust have a High School diploma or equivalency.
Proficiency on a district‑administered assessment or possession of an AA preference degree or equivalency of two years of undergraduate college classes may be required, unless working in Title I. If working in Title 1, these qualifications are required.
ExperienceEffective Communication and Social Skills.
Licenses / CertificatesValid Colorado Driver's License, CDE Substitute License when necessary.

- Ability to perform light lifting and moving of product (up to 50lbs)
- Physical strength and coordination to meet the educational, physical, and emotional needs of students assigned.
- Implements appropriate physical and technical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of district data
- Maintain good security practices with passwords and accounts for the various district systems and applications.
- Reports actual or suspected breaches in the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of district data to appropriate district personnel.
- Follows all board policies for acceptable use of district technology.

- Demonstrate reliability in all work situations.

- Under the direction of the supervising teacher, implement schedules and routines, communicate with parents, work 1‑to‑1, in small groups or full classroom settings, with students, support school‑wide and classroom management plans.
- Meet the educational, physical, and emotional needs of students assigned.
- Must be Mandt trained or be willing to be trained as necessitated by the District.
- May include inside or outside supervision of students, at times during inclement weather.
- May be required to obtain a substitute license to support in subbing for certified teachers when needed.
- May be required to transport students in district vehicle.

- Maintain confidentiality with special education student information.
