Part-Time Spanish Teacher

Job Summary

Responsible for planning and teaching Spanish to kindergarten through 8th grade.

$12,500 – $55,000 Salary/year per the Archdiocese of Denver Teacher Pay Scale

Part‑time employees are not offered benefits other than what is required by law;
Worker’s Compensation, FMLA unpaid leave, CO HFWA: 1 Hour of Sick Time per 30 hours worked, CO PMFL

15–23 Hours per Week during the school year. Schedule of days to be determined.

The Pastor, the Principal, and their representatives

• Teach Spanish to St. Mary School students.
• Prepare lesson plans that meet the Archdiocese of Denver World Language Standards.
• Differentiate lessons for students with a Spanish language background.
• Maintain an efficient, functional, and pleasant learning environment that sets a high standard of behavior and is consistent and fair to all students.
• Support and enforce school‑wide policies and rules.
• Effectively and respectfully communicate and maintain a positive relationship with parents, students, the Parish community, the principal, and other staff members.
• Model an attitude of service.
• Be timely with reporting of grades and incidents.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Pastor or Principal.

• Catholic in Good Standing preferred.
• Professional Teaching License in Spanish preferred.
