Salary and BenefitsSalary placement on our Co-Curricular Salary schedule is dependent on the sport, club, organization or program and the employees' in-district experience as outlined in Article XXIII of the Master Contract.

Education and Experience- Required: High School Diploma/GED
- Required: CPR certification
- Required: CHSAA test and regulation
- Required: Concussion Education
- Required: Prior coaching experience in this sport
- Preferred: Bilingual skills
Any other combination of related education, experience and training.
Summary / ObjectiveResponsible for all aspects of head coach; overseeing assistant coaches; making decisions based on the direction of the program.
Essential Functions- Organizing and supervising game help.
- Assists with supervision at activities.
Applicant must complete concussion training.
Other Duties / Knowledge, Skills, and Mental Ability- Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards.
- Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform all duties of the position.
- Prefers leadership situations relating to meeting the social, emotional, psychological and academic needs of students.
- Prefers a work environment where flexibility, ability to deal with conflict, a high tolerance for stress, an ability to quickly internalize information and make informed decisions, and long hours are part of the assignment.
Supervises assistant coaches.
Work Environment & Physical DemandsAbility to sit for long periods, numerous distractions, visual, auditory and ambulatory acuity important. Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
