Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Behavior Intervention Teacher to join our team in Hardin, Montana. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young students. As a Behavior Intervention Teacher, you will work with students, teachers, and parents to address and support behavioral and emotional needs within the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans for students
  • Provide direct support and instruction to students with emotional and behavioral disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavior management techniques
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and progress

Requirements:

  • EDUC certification with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders endorsement
  • MT Teacher certification with proper endorsement
  • Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disorders preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
