Assistant Professor of Counselor Education
The Department of Applied Psychology & Counselor Education in the College of Education & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado is seeking an Assistant Professor of Counselor Education with expertise in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This position is full time, contract renewable position in the Department of Applied Psychology and Counselor Education, located on our main campus in Greeley, Colorado.
Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in our CACREP accredited master's degree programs (Clinical Mental Health Counseling; Couples, Marriage, and Family Counseling/Therapy; and School Counseling programs). The successful candidate will serve in a nine-month contract. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: teaching (80%) and service (20%). Individuals should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with others and possess a commitment to diversity and social justice.
Individuals from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate may also supervise practicum students in our on-site training clinic or in external placements. Teaching opportunities will also be available in our master's programs located in Denver and Loveland.
Earned PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from a CACREP Accredited Program. Licensed or License-Eligible Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado.
