This position is for a School Psychologist in District 6 for the 2026‑2027 school year.

Education & Experience
  • Required
    :
    • Educational Specialist degree or doctorate in School Psychology
    • Licensed in Colorado or in process of obtaining Colorado licensure as a Psychologist from the Colorado Department of Education
    • Successful completion of CPI training
  • Preferred
    :
    • Nationally‑Certified School Psychologist
    • Bilingual skills in English/Spanish
Job Description

Summary / Objective: Provide students with psychological services related to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the multi‑tiered system of support (MTSS) across all tiers. Participate in district‑wide projects, extend educational opportunities, and oversee professional consulting services within the district.

Essential Functions
  • Implement and coordinate Individual Education Plans (IEP) for students identified by IDEA
  • Promote student functional independence and participation by:
    • Improving, developing, or restoring functions impaired or lost through illness, injury, or deprivation
    • Improving the ability to perform tasks for independent functioning when functions are impaired or lost
    • Preventing loss of function through early intervention and ongoing support
  • Provide direct and indirect services based on an established program that addresses individual student educational needs
  • Communicate and supervise other team members as well as families and caregivers
  • Provide professional development to staff
  • Maintain, complete, and process records and documents required by the district
  • Adhere to district policies and procedures
  • Continuously improve professional qualifications by participating in staff development offered by the district and at the state level

Work Environment / Physical Demands

Ability to sit for long periods, maintain visual and auditory acuity, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
